Menergy also op= erates two related programs:=0D=0A=0D=0A* Menergy Espa=F1ol, for Spanish-spe= aking abusive men (run out of a health center in North Philadelphia--call th= e Spanish number for more information)=0D=0A* Triangle Space, for straight a= nd lesbian women who have been violent or controlling in their relationships= .=0D=0A=0D=0ASliding scale fees* (some insurance may apply):=0D=0A* $35 to $= 100 for each individual session.=0D=0A* $25 to $50 for each group session.= =0D=0A=0D=0AThe Basic Program:=0D=0A* 3 individual 1-hour sessions for evalu= ation, assessment & contracting.=0D=0A* 10 weeks of 2-hour, once-a-week psyc= hoeducational groups working to stop abusive behavior & emphasizing accounta= bility, taking responsibility and skill building through structured discussi= ons.=0D=0A=0D=0AAdvanced Level:=0D=0A* 20 weeks of intensive group therapy f= ocused on understanding the roots of the problem and better ways of handling= internal and interpersonal conflict.=0D=0A=0D=0AReferral Process=0D=0A=0D= =0AThe client must call himself, although professionals are encouraged to ca= ll if there is any question about the appropriateness of the referral. When= the client calls, he will be given basic information about the program and = assessed a fee for an evaluation session. After he has paid his fee in adva= nce he will be given an initial appointment. During this intake session he = will be asked very specific questions about abuse, his relationship(s), and = about his drug and alcohol history. The client will be informed about Mener= gy's approach and policies (including our policy of notifying and warning pa= rtners) and asked about his level of commitment and his willingness to ackno= wledge having a problem with abuse.
